Born totally blind my musical talents were recognised at the age of 5 while being educated by Franciscan missionary nuns in Uganda.

I won a scholarship to England to study piano and organ and gained the following diplomas including L.R.A.M, L.T.C.M.& P.F.P.C at the Royal Academy of Music, plus a Diploma in arts management from the Roehampton Institute.

I have been performing jazz since 1980 playing throughout Europe and at the top London jazz venues such as Ronnie Scots, the 100 club, & Pizza Express as well as the Dorchester, the Barbican, and various arts centres. During this time I have had the pleasure of accompanying many of the great American jazz greats. Jazz icons like Sonny Stitt, Art Blakey, Roland Kirk, Teddy Wilson, & Jimmy Smith.

I have also played along with well-known UK jazz personalities such as saxophonists Alan Barnes & Dick Morrisey & performed duets with pianist Neville Dickie.
